Has anyone successfully appealed a Medicare IRMAA surcharge using Form SSA-44 after retiring?

"I retired last month and received a notice saying my Medicare Part B would cost $380/mo because of my 2024 income. Michael Nelson helped me fill out Form SSA-44 under 'Work Stoppage'. Just got notice today—my premium dropped back to $185/mo!"
